About the Expedition

This is a guided group expedition organized by the Government of Gapla. Participants are required to attend all group events, follow the instructions of chaperones and organizers, show respect to fellow participants and visited locations, and wear their expedition nametag at all times.

Costs: The ticket cost covers all group activities, lodging, breakfast, transportation within Serbia, and kayak transportation (including kayaks) to Gapla, payable directly to the Government of Gapla. Airfare to Belgrade airport and other food expenses are not included, as these vary per participant. The ticket cost is free for chaperones.

A nonrefundable USD 100 deposit is required to reserve your seat at the expedition. This deposit is due by 30 September 2025 at 11:59 PM (Anywhere on Earth), and will only be refunded if the entire expedition is cancelled.* The deposit may be used as credit towards the ticket price. Pay the deposit.

*Ticket costs will not be refunded—even if the entire expedition is cancelled—if your cancellation is the reason the entire expedition is cancelled.

Visa Requirements: Participants must be Gaplan citizens and are responsible for obtaining a Serbian visa if required. Please check the current Serbian visa regime.

Chaperone: An adult chaperone (18 years of age or older) will be available.
