Welcome to Gaplan Antarctica
The Duchy of Gaplan Antarctica, formally known as the Gaplan Antarctic Territory, is Gapla’s territorial official claim in Antarctica. While travel to this remote region is less frequent compared to Gaplastovia and Cristus, it remains an intriguing destination.
There are two options for visiting Gaplan Antarctica: a leisurely scenic helicopter tour of the Prince Wyatt Mountains and parts of Gaplan Antarctica, or a challenging expedition that involves climbing several of the Prince Wyatt Mountains over an extended adventure. Both options include on-site accommodations provided by a government partner of the Federated States of Gapla, along with flights from Buenos Aires.
Although more geopolitically straightforward to visit than Gaplastovia and Cristus, the territory’s extreme cold and high travel costs make it less accessible. The Federated States of Gapla claimed the territory through a loopholes in several official documents that left this area unclaimed by any other state. This stunning region is home to the Prince Wyatt Mountains, a vast mountain range that adds to the territory’s natural beauty.
